Chromecast Remote Overhearing (G9N9N) 4th Gen

Hi, all of a sudden, my Chromecast remote (G9N9N) is overheating and not working. I have not dropped it or spilt water on it.

What can be done about this?

To help resolve this issue, please try the following steps:

Check Battery Condition: Ensure the batteries are fresh and properly installed. Sometimes, weak batteries can cause unexpected behavior.
Reset the Remote: Remove the batteries, wait a few minutes, and then reinsert them. This can often resolve temporary glitches.

Re-pair the remote.
Unplug your Chromecast from the power source for 10 seconds.
Remove the batteries from the remote.
Reinsert the batteries and press and hold the Home button until the LED light starts pulsing.
Plug your Chromecast back in.

Hi Jorge,

I have done all that but the Chromecast remote still overheats and doesnt work.

What else can I do?
