Hi there jraztaztic,

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

Getting the most out of your setup can sometimes be tricky, but let's see what we can do!

Chromecast with Google TV HD doesn't allow a direct physical connection to your speakers. If you want to use your Logitech speakers, you can try creating a speaker group in the Google Home app if they're compatible.

Otherwise, the best option might be to connect your speakers directly to your TV. This way, they'll play audio from the TV instead of the Chromecast.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Angel.

I recently bought the chromecast with google tv (hd) to go with my new projector. I had originally planned to use a stereo pair of nest minis for the audio, and that worked fine, its all linked up and plays the audio. Unfortunately i have found it to be a deeply underwhelming experience and this has made me want to dust off my old logitech z5500 5.1 surround speakers.

What would be the best way to get the audio from the chromecast to these speakers? The input options are spdif or analogue in a set of 3 3.5mm jacks.
