Voice Navigation Commands for some YTTV Channels not working

Hi!
My inlaws have two 4K Chromecasts with GoogleTV devices in their home. They are both having the same issue. When you press the assistant button and try to use voice navigation to go to a channel ("Turn on NBC on YouTubeTV") it works for most stations but not with NBC and HGTV. The same issue is happening on both devices. I've tried asking for it multiple ways including the local station ID but it comes back with a message about can't find it right now. However, I can go to the Live section and find and watch the channels from there.

Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

It's odd that you can't tune into all channels with voice navigation, but let's see what we can do about it.

As a first step, I suggest following this article to reboot your Chromecast. After that, make sure your relatives are using Voice Match as it helps the device understand voices better and provide better results. You can do this by:

Opening the Google Home app
Tapping your Profile picture or initial at the top right > Assistant settings > Assistant > Voice Match.
Checking if your device is listed under "Linked devices."
Tapping Add devices, then following the on-screen instructions.

It would be great to verify that both your Google Home app and Chromecast are up to date to ensure they don't have any trouble using Google Assistant.

They live with us, so here are the steps I took today:
Factory reset and updated the Chromecast
Relogged into everything
And the same issue happened.

As you can see from the photo, it knows exactly what I'm saying, but it can't find NBC. It works for every other channel. It seems that it's something on the server end and not on the CC end.
Any other thoughts?

I’m having the same issues. 2 chromecasts just suddenly can’t find YTTV stations with voice. I can get ABC, CBS, but not NBC. I can only get about 7 stations. Talked to chrome cast support, they sent to YTTV support, and they sent me to Google Home where it’s been stalled for nearly 3 days. I factory reset everything, deleted and reinstalled all apps, deleted my home in google home and reconfigured everything from scratch. Hasn’t fixed a thing. I’ll let you know if Google Home support ever comes up with a solution.

Well, I went on the support merry go round again. Started in google home, they escalated and I was sent to Chromecast, escalated and sent to YTTV where they quit communicating. They suggested checking viewing restrictions, but all my related apps are set to allow all. U checked my ISP for any parental controls but they are not on. This wouldn’t be a big deal to me because I don’t use voice very often, but I have a 90 year old mother living with me who can’t be taught button navigation for the life of me. Any luck on your end?
