GoogleTV - BBC iPlayer - Connection Error - Could not connect to BBC iPlayer servers

I am using GoogleTV(HD) in my Sony Bravia TV via the HDMI port. GoogleTV is connected wirelessly to home WiFi. The BBC iPlayer app in my GoogleTV gives a Connection Error as "Could not connect to BBC iPlayer servers, Press BACK or HOME to exit the application and check your internet connectivity". The BBC iPlayer used to work perfectly in the GoogleTV until very recently but all of a sudden this error appears. Anyone facing this issue as well? Support team can you please look into this and provide a solution.

NOTE: I have already factory rest and reinstalled the GoogleTV, still no success.

Do you have a Chromecast device or a Chromecast built in?
Are the other apps working correctly on your Google TV?
Did you make any recent changes to your network or devices?
Are you connected to your network with an Ethernet cable?
How far is the Google TV from your router?

In the meantime, try these steps:

Ensure your Google TV operating system is up-to-date.
Reboot your router.

thanks for getting back. fortunately a day after I posted this query the BBC iPlayer started working again on my Google TV automatically, I just tried one more time.

however to answer the questions you had asked.

Do you have a Chromecast device or a Chromecast built in? - its Google TV device connected to the TV via HDMI port
Are the other apps working correctly on your Google TV? - Yes other apps were working fine
Did you make any recent changes to your network or devices? - no I did not do any specifically, but home broadband service provider will updated the network, router in background automatically.
Are you connected to your network with an Ethernet cable? - no the Google TV device connected to home wifi
How far is the Google TV from your router? - approx. 8-9 meters
