OLD Chromecast help please

I've got an old chromecast - purchased in 2018. It's not been used for a few years. I'm now in a different house with a new wifi system. Is it still possible to set up and use this? I remember that the set-up used to be done on the PC but this seems to have changed??? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @RogerB1

You should be able to set up the Chromecast with a mobile device or tablet.

Do a reset and then follow the steps here: Set up your Chromecast device (3rd gen or older) - Android - Chromecast Help change the header to iPhone if you are using that.
