Chromecast home screen loading error

I don't know what platform I'm supposed to select but it made me, and my issue wasn't listed so I just picked one I hope that doesn't screw anybody up.

My Chromecast with Google TV has worked perfect ever since I got it but for the last few weeks or maybe even months there has been a loading error on the home screen of my main account / profile. I have tried lots of things to get rid of the loading error and bring back the continue watching and suggestions. Right now it's only showing the apps that I have installed as if it was set to app only mode but they're the normal round apps not the rectangular app only mode apps. The other account signed in on this Chromecast doesn't have the loading error like my main account.

It seemed to be fixed but the suggestions and continue watching titles didn't ever update. Then around 24 hours after it seemed to have been fixed it's got the loading error on the home screen again.

It seems to be fixed again hopefully it stays that way. I can't figure out how to remove the previous messages.
