Image sometimes dark

Image is sometimes dark. Like a semi-transparent filter layered over the screen. It only affects some series/films. When I try to use a Chromecast gen III instead, it works fine. I have experienced this with several supported apps, like Apple tv, Netflix and Swedish Tv4.

Could I know what chromecast model is giving you this darker color on your favorite shows? It would be great to know when you started noticing this happening on your TV.
