Casting from Chrome became much worse

Chrome became much worse I noticed the cast button next to the address bar on the PC had changed lately for me, and I am having issues ever since. It seems to have been stripped of the most basic features, such as: No playback information. When casting media, there's no way to control volume, pause/play, rewind/skip ahead, or even see the progress of the content. All I see is a disconnect button. When casting YouTube, you can't join others and add to queue, because all there is is the disconnect button. There is no more backware, foward control. And no more visual video control either.

When did this issue start happening?
What OS is your desktop running?
What version of Google Chrome are you using?
Are these features also missing when casting from another device, such as a laptop or phone?
