Chromecast volume

I’ve had google tv/chromecast for over a year. Suddenly the remote does not work w the tv volume. I can only use chromecast volume which is too low. I’ve reset, bought 3 more, same thing. Google help was NO HELP! I’ve been under settings, I can’t pair my tv. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Since you mentioned purchasing 3 more devices, I want to know if you bought a new bundle or just the voice remote. In the meantime, to better assist you, I'd like to ask the following:

What is the specific model and generation of your Chromecast? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify the model of your device.
Do you see any lights on the Chromecast when you're trying to pair or volume up the TV??
How long was the remote functional before it stopped working?
Are there any error messages from Chromecast when this issue occurred? If so, can you please take a picture of the error message?
What type of batteries did you use? Are they the original batteries included in the box?

Additionally, I’d suggest the following steps:

Try rebooting your Chromecast. For instructions, refer to the next article: Reboot your Chromecast device.
Try using another remote to ensure Chromecast is the selected input.
Check if the remote can control the Google TV interface but can’t turn on/off the TV or control the volume.
