Google chrome cast won’t reset

my Google chrome cast no longer seems to be working. When I turn it on, all I get is Google tv screen in a rectangle box with the Google colours rotation around it.

tried hard reset, however the light stays white, it won’t go yellow.

What is the specific model of your Chromecast?
Has your Chromecast ever worked properly with your TV?
Could you describe the steps you took to perform the hard reset?
Could you please share a screenshot of what you see on your TV?
What TV brand do you primarily use with your device (e.g., Sony, LG, Samsung, TCL)?

In the meantime, you can try the following:

Make sure you have the latest versions of the Google Home app and your mobile device's operating system.
Try rebooting your Chromecast. For instructions, refer to the next article: Reboot your Chromecast device.
Try a different HDMI port. Test if using a different HDMI port on the TV improves the connection.
If possible, try connecting the Chromecast to another TV to see if the inconvenience persists.
