Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital

Hi, I've issues with Dolby Digital Surround Audio.

Netflix and Amazon only provide Dolby Digital Plus surround audio. But my receiver can only decode Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. So in my case I only get a stereo signal because Google TV do not downmix DD+ to DD.

Is there a solution in development?
