Stuck on welcome screen

I changed my internet provider so I’ve had to update my chromecast with the new network. I had to do a factory reset because It wouldn’t let me change it in the google home app.

so I’m starting from scratch. I’m on the welcome screen, I’m trying to detect in the google home but it cannot find my chromecast. I’ve done a hard reset twice

I am having this exact same issue! I can't figure it out. I've tried to uninstall the app and start over but that didn't work either...It just stays on the welcome screen and never detects anything..

Enable location and Bluetooth on your phone.

Make sure Local Network Access is enabled on your iPhone. This will allow permissions for your device to discover Cast-enabled devices.
