There's something wrong with your remote, it took me maybe 1-2% in 2 weeks

Hi,

I have a Google TV Streamer and I've noticed that the batteries gone empty very fast, usually in 24 hours a pair of AAA piles are dead.

It's that normal?

Thanks.

That is not normal no.. I've been using my since launch daily and still have tons of juice. Usually when a remote drains batteries fast it's because a button is being pushed down. Good way to tell, open your phones camera app, aim the remote at your camera lens, if you can see the ir emitter on the remote lighting up, then a button is being pushed down. This can happen if moisture or a sticky liquid gets under the buttons.

Hi everyone,

Yes there's something wrong with it. I talked the support team and they are going to replace it as the remote couldn't be reset to the factory settings.

Today after 15 minutes it passed from 66% to 64% of battery.

Best regards,

Juan.
