I have a Chrome cast on a Dynex TV that has Google TV. When i go to set up the remote controls the tv it works for the sound and input but will not work for the power. When I go to set up the power button it says to push the button and wait 8 seconds and then to push it again. This does work the tv turns off and then comes back on but I do not get the option to confirm it so it just stays on the setup page till I back out. Any Ideas

Try different HDMI ports: Experiment with different HDMI ports on your TV.
