I have the exact same issue. Used to work fine the stopped a few months ago. Multiple factory reboots, deleted/recreated home groups etc.. I see the speaker in the home group but no sound ever comes out anymore.

I have a JBL Authentics 300 and it does not play audio as part of a Google Home speaker group. I have a few legacy Chromecast Audio dongles and two other JBL Link smart speakers that will play simultaneously in a speaker group, but when the new Auth300 is added into the group, the audio will play on all the other speakers except the Auth300. The Auth300 on its own works fine to cast audio... Primarily using Spotify, and have the streaming mode as Google Cast.

Hi @MT72,

Thanks for posting to the community. I'm sorry to hear that your JBL Authentics 300 isn't playing audio as part of the speaker group. Let me help you with this.

It seems the concern might be related to the JBL device itself. I recommend contacting the JBL support team for further assistance.

Best regards,

Lusvin.
