Google TV Streamer (4K) freezing

When watching an NFL football game (YouTube TV) the Streamer will freeze. I end up going back in time or exit the channel and start over. I've cleared the cache. Same thing happened. I've never had this problem with a Chromecast.

Is your Google TV Streamer (4K)'s power-saving mode turned on?
How close are the devices to each other?
Are the Google TV Streamer (4K) devices’ firmware updated?
Are there other apps that actively run on the device?
When did the trouble start?

Sorry I forgot to reply. The problem was my internet provider. I did call them and they said everything was fine. Then low and behold, three days later and an outage. Then everything started working after service returned....
