Google TV streamer transfer to Chromecast with Google TV

I have been trying to transfer a cast that I am watching on My Google TV Streamer to my Chromecast with Google TV and vice versa, Assistant says sure transferring.... but it never happens. I can transfer via the Google Home app no problem.

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry that your devices are not transferring content to each other. Don't worry, I'm here to help.

I understand that you would like to transfer what you are watching on a Chromecast to another streaming device; if so, let me inform you that the command you are sending to the devices is not available since video content may only be played on one device at a time. As you can see, they are two distinct devices that are not linked to one another.

When you wish to move whatever you're watching on one device, you must finish casting on the first device and then restart with the other.

Regarding your question, if the options are not displayed in the Chromecast, this feature is currently unavailable. To help us prioritize adding this feature, please share your feedback. Your opinion is valuable to us as we continually work to enhance Google Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV Streamer 4K devices.
