Was there any recent power outage?

How is the streaming device receiving power? Did they use a power cable or USB port?

Is the LED light solid white?

What model of Chromecast do you have?

If you have tried to power the Chromecast from both the power source and USB port and have no LED light on the device:

Make sure that the USB port is functional for other devices (e.g., try to plug in your phone to the outlet or USB and check if it charges).

Try to turn on the Chromecast from another power source (e.g., wall socket).

Try a different power cable (USB-to-micro-USB cable and adapter) than the one that came in the box with the Chromecast device.
