Google TV streamer live tab missing in canada

I do not see a live tab on my new Google TV streamer. Thought I did the research before and said it was available on the Google TV streamer in Canada but I can't find the tab. Is there any way to enable the live tab?

Do you have YouTube Premium?
The account on the Google TV Streamer is the same one that you use with your YouTube subscription?

I just purchased and setup a new Google TV Streamer box today, and I can confirm there is no visible "Live TV" tab anywhere.

The top row lists the following: For You - Movies - Shows - Apps - Library

Am I missing something?

Quick Note: VPNing to an USA server, immediately brings up the live tab... So it seems the info about it being available in Canada is false advertising or just wrong.
