Forget wifi, but no chance to select new wifi

I want to connect to a new wifi so I selected forget wifi. However, I was not taken to the screen to choose new wifi. Now I am stuck in a loop of it telling me to connect to wifi and not being able to do it.

I am not sure what gen I have.

If you want to connect to a new wifi on a Chromecast you will need to factory reset it and then setup as new, luckily this is a quick process!

Thanks for the quick response! I am not sure how to reset but that is something I can no doubt work out now.
