Dead nest camera battery on floodlights

Can I use a outdoor charging cable and keep my nest camera plugged in and mount on my floodlights setup. My camera is currently saying dead battery and I don't want to have to keep take it off to recharge.

We've had the battery camera plugged in with Google Nest's optional power cable since Sept. 2021, and it's been "Live" and online ever since we installed it. Judging from other posts in this forum, you might have to delete and reinstall your camera if you add a power cable now; it seems Google Nest sets some sort of setting during the install that tells Google Nest the camera is plugged in, rather than running on battery power.
