Chromecast was working but now "cannot reach internet"???

Hi All,

My chromecast was working fine. I disconnected by internet modem and reconnected for non related issue. Chromecast now cannot connect to my wifi. It will connect to my hotspot though.

I have factory reset it with the same message appearing "cannot reach internet".

Please help.

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience on this! Were you able to fix that internet issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, because I know how annoying it can be when the device won't connect! Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?
What color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
Are you connecting it to the same network band? Either 2.4GHz or 5GHz
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
