Hi Ana,

Thanks for your response! For practical reasons my input is added to your questions:

Is the Google TV Streamer connected directly to the TV? Yes, via a certified 2.1 HDMI cable

Is there a soundbar or AV receiver connected to the TV? If so, please provide the model names of your TV, soundbar, and AV receiver. There is only a TV, no soundbar or receiver. Our TV is a 50" ultra HD Smart TV MEDION LIFE X15092

Are there other devices connected to the soundbar or AV receiver? Not applicable

Is the Google TV Streamer connected through Wi-Fi or ethernet? directly via ethernet

Do you have any other streaming devices (e.g., Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV)? If so, does the same issue happen on those devices? A Nintendo Switch and a digital TV-device (Amino) is connected and they don't have this or any other problem. Formerly we used a Chromecast which worked fine too.

Hopefully this input helps to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance for your help!

Kind regards,

David

We've been using the TV Streamer for a few weeks now. Every now and then the audio stops while continuing streaming. This happens with various apps (including Disney+ and HBO). Remedy is turning off and on the TV Streamer, audio works fine again then for another while (it varies from 30 to 70 minutes untill it reappears if it does). Can this be fixed or is it a hardware-issue?

Hi, @Dsmeets!

Thank you for posting in the community. I sincerely apologize that the audio has been stopping randomly. I understand how frustrating this situation can be, as the constant interruptions prevent you from fully enjoying your device. Help’s here!

To provide you with the best assistance, please provide the following information:

Is the Google TV Streamer connected directly to the TV?

Is there a soundbar or AV receiver connected to the TV? If so, please provide the model names of your TV, soundbar, and AV receiver.

Are there other devices connected to the soundbar or AV receiver?

Is the Google TV Streamer connected through Wi-Fi or ethernet?

Do you have any other streaming devices (e.g., Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV)? If so, does the same issue happen on those devices?

In the meantime, please check that you use an HDMI-certified 2.1 cable to connect since the Google TV Streamer requires one to work.

Please keep me updated.

Best regards,

Ana
