I have a bad habit of falling asleep with the remote. I'll wake as it leaves my hand for meeting the floor or the chair catches the remote and I have to Hulk out to try moving the chair to encourage the remote to drop.

Now, how do I get a usable remote?

The new Streamer device has a slightly larger remote. But, it's still basically the same design.

But, Amazon sells a WIDE variety of non-slick skins for your remote. Search for "Cover for Chromecast with Google TV remote". You will find ones with lanyards to make them even easier to recover.
