Solid white light on my Chromecast remote.

My Chromecast remote has a solid white light. It never goes into pairing mode. I tried getting help from support but never got the call and chat I was promised.

I have tried all the suggested ways on these forums and even Reddit, it will just not go into pairing mode and pulsate to indicate it.

What is the specific model of your Chromecast? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify the model of your device.
Is this the first time that you're pairing the Voice Remote to the Chromecast?
Did you see any error messages during the pairing process?

In the meantime, I suggest the following steps:

Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app and the mobile software version.
