google chrome casting does not work in mac OS 15

Hi, I cannot cast from Google Chrome to my Chromecast. I am getting an error saying that I have to give access in system settings. However, Google Chrome is already included in apps that have access in system settings.

This issue started after updating mac os to os 15. However, mac community suggests reaching out here since its a google product. Is there a fix for this cast permissions issue.

I am also having the same issue. However, that only happens when trying to cast my screen. If I try to cast a tab, it will cast it but as a still image. If I navigate through the tab, it will not update on the casted destination screen at all.

Factory Reset (if necessary): If the issue persists, try factory resetting your Chromecast device. This often resolves connectivity problems. Instructions are usually found in the Chromecast app or in the Chromecast device documentation.
