Remote issues HDMI-CEC Chromecast 2020

Chromecast with Google TV 2020
Samsung TV with HDMI CEC support

Issue: my TV is not responding when shutting down with chromecast remote.
My TV is however responding when turning ON and changing volume with chromecast remote.

I have another (old) streaming box, my TV responded to all remote commands.
The Chromecast uses the same HDMI-port.

What can I do to get the remote to work fully, thus also turn off the TV?

Let's try some troubleshooting steps:

1. Check that HDMI-CEC, also called Anynet+ on Samsung, is enabled.

2. Add the TV to control.

To start setup, turn on Chromecast. At the top right of the TV screen, select profile, then ‘Settings.’
If you haven’t added a device yet, you’ll need to add one before you can continue.
Select ‘Remotes and Accessories,’ under Chromecast remote setup, select Set up remote buttons, then ‘Add a device.’
Select the device type and the device brand.

3. Set up the power button:

From the remote control setup screen, select Power.
Turn off the TV by pressing the power button on the remote, and wait eight seconds to turn the TV back on.
Under ‘Did the power button work?,’ Select Yes or No; try again.
