Ambient mode on all Home devices not using Google photos

Hi there,

on all my Google home devices (2 Nest Hub displays and my Google TV streamer), ambient mode no longer uses my personal photos. It used to work, now only shows curated art. I have gone into the settings and selected my own photo albums many times, sometimes it will show a personal photo for the first photo, and then immediately shows art again. Never goes back to using my photos. This is driving me nuts. Never used to be a problem until recently. Same issue is happening on Google TV Streamer and my Google Nest Hub devices

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Hubs and Google TV Streamer are not showing your photo albums. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help you!

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

Have you made any changes to your WiFi network?
When did the problem start?
Are the photos synchronized in the Google Photos app?
Are you using an Android or iOS phone?
Is the album you are using a shared album?
Are personal results active in the Google Home app?
