Chromecast disconnects from wifi

Good evening,

A few days ago out of nowhere my Chromecast started disconnecting from wifi. Like when I connect it, it instantly disconnects.

I've restarted it, that didn't work

Factory reset - now I can't even get my home app to recognize it.

I even used my phone hotspot to see if my home network changed.

Oddly enough, I had a second Chromecast that I wasn't using. Popped it in and it works just fine. So at least I know it's not the network.

What model of Chromecast do you have?
Are you using an Android or iOS device?
Is your Chromecast device plugged directly into a power outlet or into the USB port on your TV?
Is your Chromecast device connected to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network?
