Hi TBL98,

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with the remote control of your Chromecast with Google TV. I understand how frustrating this situation can be after the steps that you try. But don't worry; help is here. I just need to confirm, is this the way that you try to factory reset the remote and the Chromecast device?
For the Voice Remote:

Check that the batteries in your Chromecast voice remote have a charge remaining.

Remove the batteries from the remote.

Press and hold the Home button.

While holding the Home button, reinsert the batteries.

Hold the button while the LED light is solid.

When the light starts pulsing, release the button.

For the Chromecast with Google TV:

While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered on, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED should start to blink yellow.

When the LED light turns solid white, release the button, and the Chromecast will then reset.

<LI-WRAPPER>Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.</LI-WRAPPER>

<LI-WRAPPER>
Best regards,
Jenny</LI-WRAPPER>

One of my three Chromecast w Google TV setups has navigation problems. Upon startup, the tabs across the top appear. Using the remote to highlight Live, and entering, it does not engage. Trying to toggle down to the network listings does not work. The TV makes an audible tone but there is no function. In order to watch YouTube Live TV, I have to highlight Apps, then You Tube TV. Then a screen appears with Library Home and Live, where I can select Live. What often occurs is that this screen doesn't appear and it streams the last channel, where I have to toggle back to see the Live selection.

This began about a week ago. The other two TV's navigate properly. I checked for System Update, unplugged the

Chromecast as well as held its button to restart. I cleared some caches, and attempted to remove and reinstall the device via the Home app. Oddly, this last effort didn't seem to fully remove info related to this TV.

Please let me know of any other methods to clear this up. Thanks!
