I can't connect YouTube Android app to my 1st generation Chromecast dongle. The text says "Try again some other time". Does it mean i have to buy Google TV Streamer?

Hi!

Yes, Google Home app is updated as well as YouTube app.

The issue is only with YouTube app. Other apps (e.g. Google Photos) connect to Chromecast as always.

Chromecast is connected to a 2.4 GHz. 1st generation dongle doesn't support 5 GHz connection.
