Can't disconnect from TV

I just picked a random product because I wasn't sure which one I'm on and this forum is hard to navigate so I', not sure this is in the right place but I have never connected to my TV before however I'm suddenly connected to it now and can't stop it, every time I click stop casting on media controls it pauses whatever is on the TV. How do I stop this? It's really annoying and I don't want to accidentally cast whatever I'm watching to the family TV.

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Google streaming automatically changes to streaming. I'm happy to assist you! I have some questions to better understand the issue.

What type of HDMI cable are you using?
Do you use the same remote control for your TV and Google streaming device?
