I have a Denon AVR-s760h, I have plugged in my chromecast and I CANNOT watch 4k movies. I have set the HDCP to 2.3 and it still does not work, since the chromecast is compatible with 2.2! There is no update or any way to fix this? Thanks a lot

I assume that the Chromecast device is connected to the HDMI 2 (Media Player) input port on the AV receiver and you are using a certified HDMI Lltra High Speed (48 Gbps) cable to connect the AV receiver to the TV.

exactly. It is like that, but 4K movies cannot be viewed. my HDMI cable is 8k certified =(

What if you connect the Chromecast device directly to the TV? Can you watch 4K resolution?

While you are connected to the AV receiver, what is the maximum resolution available to select on Chromecast device?

What is the maximum resolution and framerate supported by the TV?

If the TV is able to display Ultra High Definition at over 60 FPS, access the AV receiver Video settings and set the 4K/8K signal format to 8K Enhanced.

Have you tried to reboot the Chromecast device by unplugging it from the main power grid for about 5 minutes?

Ensure that the Chromecast device software is running the latest software version - QTS1.210311.036.

Hello! unfortunately I just did all that, unplugging, restarting the chromecast ... but nothing. I have no choice but to connect it directly to the TV, it does work there. I hope some update from I will sign that solves this ... thanks 😪

Alternatively, you can put a HDMI switch between the Chromecast device and the AV receiver input, to mitigate a possible HDMI handshake issue.

Solved! the problem was the TV. The avr had connected it to the HDMI arc port, and it does NOT support 60 hz and 4K !!! I connected it to another HDMI port and solved !! Thank U DJTetei!
