Chromecast with Google TV Stuck on Logo and Shuts Down

Not sure what’s happening—my Chromecast with Google TV suddenly stopped working. I’ve tried rebooting by disconnecting and reconnecting the power, but it only gets to the Google "G" logo before shutting down completely. The LED light turns off when this happens.

I also tried a factory reset, but no luck. The LED changes from amber to white, then the device shuts off right after the G logo appears.

Any ideas on what else I can try?

It seems like this is often caused by a miscommunication between your TV and your Chromecast with Google TV, and is often a result of something that is out of our control on the TV side. Before we start, I will ask you a few questions to better understand this inconvenience:

Is the streaming device plugged directly into the TV's HDMI port?
- If it isn't, where is it plugged into?
Do you have an AVR connected to their TV?
Has the streaming device ever worked with this TV?
Is the black screen or no signal an intermittent issue?
