Video distorting on google chrome

Hi. Using Google chromecast to stream on older smart tv. Free to air is working fine and so was the chromecast......until last night. Picture is tiled and distorted on streaming. Free to air is fine so it's not a TV issue. Any ideas?

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that video issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know I'd be frustrated if my Chromecast appeared distorted while watching my shows! Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?
Have you tried changing the HDMI port that the Chromecast is plugged into?
Does this occur when casting from other apps or websites?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
