how to secure chromecast on a public network?

Unable to control chromecast over a public network such as a hotel.

Everyone having access to the network can stream to my Tv, that makes it difficult to control your own Media.

Is there any way we can add a layer of security to this?

My pixel 5a lets me use wifi for hotspot. You can also try the methods below.

Best option is to use a mobile travel router. This way you will have your own secure network, wherever you go.
