I am real sorry about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that set-up issue? If not, I'd be happy to help you look into it, since I understand it can be a pain sometimes! Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

What color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
Do you get any errors when you're setting it up?
Have you already factory reset the device?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
