Chromecast factory reset solution

1)Set your phone date to 8 march

2) reset factory the Chromecast

3) It will connect and will have an actualization

4) Reset factory again (optional)

5) You can set de the date back to today's date (and as in my situation, my Bluetooth won't work with date changed (Motorola E14) so I used another phone (Samsung A51), that's why the second factory reset, I'm so happy I could fix it, was really scary bc I factory reseted it and wasn't receiving the actualization).

Thanks Alejooo, this method worked for me. Once I follow ur steps without the 2nd factory reset, I manage to connect chromecast to my WiFi and it automatically update to fix the issue.

Now my chromecast 2nd gen is working as usual.
