Chromecast with no Internet connection

I’m trying to broadcast a signal from my iPhone to my Samsung TV with a chrome cast G7X7. I don’t have an Internet connection at my home except through my phone. I read on Google that You can switch your Chromecast to work without Internet connection

Hey there Ek0,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience! I know you may have already found an answer, but the Chromecast does require an active internet connection, either through Wi-Fi or Ethernet (with an adapter). Some folks have had success with using a Mobile Hotspot, but that is not a Google approved configuration and varies from device to device.
