Chromecast and Netflix.

My chromecast enabled HDMI stick wouldn't show when I try to set it up on Google home. It on comes up at the "permission to turn on wifi stage" but when it's time to "set up a device", nothing shows. Besides, the stage of "plug in a device", is it really necessary in chromecast connection with Netflix, since the network is already set up? It's exasperating that for over 6 days of trying to cast netflix via this chromecast stick, it doesn't work at all.

Have you factory reset and started from scratch? I assume you have used this on another wifi network , but your post was not clear. Factory reset and run the setup process through Google home once again.
