Can't cast from Chrome browser to external Google TV

I cannot cast from the Chrome browser on any device (phone, tablet, Windows PC) to my Living Room TV (where the Google TV dongle is plugged in).

I can however cast any other app (Netflix, Youtube, Max, Prime, etc) to my Living Room TV.

Also I can cast the Chrome browser on any device to any of the other Google devices in my house (older gen Chromecasts, Minis, Chromecast Audio, Displays, etc).

When I attempt to cast a Chrome tab, the device list contains every device except my Living Room TV.

What did Google push now that broke these devices again?

All I want to do is cast a sporting event from my desktop to my TV. Why can I not do that now?

What is the make and model of the device you're using to cast?
Is your Google Chrome browser version updated?
Have there been any recent changes to your network?
Were you able to cast previously?
How far is your Chromecast from your router?
