Google TV streamer can’t find my TV for remote control

When trying to set up Google tv streamer so the remote can control power and volume on the TV my TV doesn’t appear on the very long list of TVs, does anyone know a compatible selection for a “**bleep** Smith GE6878”, another person had success using Hisense but not working for mine, any help appreciated 👍

Thanks Deborah, I’ve connected the steamer to the tv but I want to be able to use the volume control on the steamer remote but my tv doesn’t appear on the list of tvs to connect it

Thanks Deborah, my other TVs are already smart TVs, I’ll just use the tv remote for on/off and volume controls, annoying but really just a first world problem, thanks for your help 👍
