    <description>&lt;P&gt;Why is it and I might be crazy but I think it's since the update that casting from a b browser on my laptop has a horrible connection but casting from all the apps like Disney, Max, Netflix.... work perfectly fine? It's been driving me nuts for sure awhile now I'm about to buy a smart TV. Does anyone have a fix or at least am I not alone?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Casting from browser tabs (especially Chrome or Edge) has been super unstable since the last update. But like you said, apps like Netflix, Disney+, Max cast totally fine. It’s 100% something with the browser’s casting protocol after recent updates.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=""&gt;A quick workaround you can try is disabling &lt;STRONG&gt;hardware acceleration&lt;/STRONG&gt; in your browser settings. Sometimes that weirdly affects casting performance. Or try using the &lt;STRONG&gt;VLC player&lt;/STRONG&gt; to stream your local files via cast — it’s way more stable than browser tab casting.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="" data-unlink="true"&gt;Also, just a thought — sometimes casting lag or bad connection can be tied to your laptop’s performance too. If your CPU or GPU is getting bottlenecked while handling multiple tasks (like high-res streaming + casting), it can mess with the connection.
