Lower volume while listening not available in settings

Hi there. I have a Chromecast plugged into my TV with Google assistants nearby. Now normally I should be able to go to Google home, devices, my Chromecast tile, settings, audio and access my Chromecast audio settings to find "Lower volume while listening". But when I go to there is nothing available. Why is this? I want to turn this feature off and I can't find it.

Are your mobile phone and your Google Home app up to date?
Have you tried using a different phone to turn off the lower volume feature?

Yes they are up to date. No I don't own two phones lol. Seriously?

No one else has this issue? I'm perplexed at what I am missing here, I remember there was a way to turn this off and if so, why am I not seeing it?
