Thanks @tajennifer. Yes, it would be a great fature to have because unpairing and pairing back headphones each time when i want to use them with the Streamer is not so convenient. Even having a dedicated tile in the quick settings which i can use to manually enable/disable bluetooth for all "external" devices (except the remote which i'd like to have always connected regardless this setting) would help a lot.

Hi!

I have my headhones connected to the Streamer and also to a couple of devices at home (phone, laptop) and i only need them to work with the Streamer when i use it. But it doesn't work that way, so when i put the Streamer on a standby the headphones:

1) Keep being connected to the Streamer if they prevously were

2) Connect to the Streamer when they are on

Is there a way to prevent them from connecting to the Streamer when it's on standby besides unpairing them each time? Can i manually disable bluetooth, but keep the remote working? Is that possible to automatically disconnect bluetooth audio on standby and not accept new connections until the Streamer is back on?

Thanks

Hi user1752185,

Thanks for posting in the community! I understand that you are experiencing some inconveniences with your Google TV Streamer automatically reconnecting to previously paired Bluetooth devices, even when the streamer is on standby and the other devices have Bluetooth enabled. I'd be happy to share more details with you about this.

Let me tell you that there isn't a universal setting to completely prevent a previously paired Bluetooth device from reconnecting when a device is in standby and its Bluetooth is still active. The streamer's operating system is likely designed to remember and re-establish known connections for user convenience. Unpairing the device is generally the most effective way to prevent this automatic reconnection.

That's a reasonable request for a smoother user experience. We appreciate your feedback. We're constantly working on improvements, and your input helps us shape future features.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

Best regards,
Jenny
