Problem with Chromecast HDMI

Everytime I switch my TV on it automatically changes to the HDMI channel where Chromecast is plugged in. My old Chromecast didn’t do it. It’s annoying when I’m only about to watch the TV. Can anybody help if there is any solution for this? My CC is 3rd generation and the situation stays the same weather it’s connected to TVs USB-port or to the wall pucket.

Thank you for being patient, and I appreciate it! That's an interesting issue you're having with the TV always going to the Chromecast input. I'd be happy to help you figure out the issue! Let me just ask you some questions:

What type of TV do you have?
When did this issue start happening?
Have you tried changing which HDMI port the Chromecast is plugged in to?
Does your TV have options to modify the HDMI-CEC?

What I would suggest trying for now is test each HDMI port and seeing if the issue persists. If it does keep happening, then I would check the TV's setting and see if you can disable the HDMI-CEC for the port that the Chromecast is plugged into.
