Please let us disable ambient mode on TV streamer

Why are there no options for changing the settings for the ambient mode? 1) I don't want it at all and 2) I would at least like an option for a long time out instead of whatever the default inactivity timer is. Help please!

Hi @RinMoon,

Thanks for reaching out with your feedback on the ambient mode settings. I understand why you'd want more control over this feature. The ability to completely disable it or at least adjust the inactivity timer to a longer period is a very common request.

In the meantime, you can submit feedback about your Chromecast, Chromecast with Google TV, or Google TV Streamer device and then follow the prompts. This sends your suggestion directly to the development team.
