I am sorry, that is not possible.

Speaker Groups can only be used for Audio-only content. They do not support anything with Video in it.

And, while you can connect some audio devices to your Chromecast Streamer, you have to use Bluetooth and you can only connect ONE device.

Speaker groups only support audio-only streams. That's how the standard was designed. It cannot carry or sync with video.

However, it looks like some of that is changing. Read this article that was just published:

https://techcrunch.com/2025/10/01/google-teases-its-new-gemini-powered-google-home-speaker-coming-in-spring-2026/

It says "Users will also now be able to pair two Google Home speakers with a Google TV Streamer — Google’s streaming device for TVs — for a surround-sound-style setup, which is something its users have long requested."

WOW, that's really good news. But is that for the new style speaker they just came out with or will the older Nest Audio be able to apply the same concept?

I am sorry, that is ALL the information we have right now. Based on how it's written, I'm assuming that the new feature is only for the new types of speakers (it may be if it requires hardware that is not in the old devices). But, we will have to wait and see.
