This problem just started recently, but the Google streaming device turns off on it’s own and has to be powered back on continuously

I'm having a similar issue. I have the Google TV 4K streamer connected via HDMI to an LG TV. Every 5 to 15 minutes my TV sya the signal is lost. I have to turn the power off and on to get it back.

Plugged into the wall outlet via provided USB-C cable

Connected to TV via HDMI

White solid light on the back of the streamer

Use it for apps like YouTube TV, MLB

Hi @vinnyleo,

Thank you for your response and for taking the time to address the previous questions. Let's try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Power off your TV.
Unplug the TV's power cord from the electrical outlet.
Unplug your Google TV Streamer from its power source and from the TV's HDMI port, and then wait for one full minute.
Plug both the TV and the streaming device back into their power sources.
Wait about 30 seconds for them to boot up fully. Power on your TV.
Connect the streaming device back into the TV's HDMI port.
Use your TV remote to tune the TV to the same HDMI input where your streaming device is plugged in.
If your TV has multiple HDMI ports, try to plug your Google TV Streamer into a different HDMI port on your TV and check if the issue persists.

At least I have some improvement. ARC started working. Now checking power off issue and further CEC features.

I've got a similar issue. When I hook up my console to my TV via HDMI, the signal disappears. This usually happens when I'm playing jenny mod java edition. To get the signal back, I have to turn the power off and on again.
