Thanks, I submitted this feedback.

Unless the issue or feature request is resolved then those threads would appear to still be relevant, if the issue was fixed or feature implemented then it would seem to make more sense to lock or close those threads. For instance, I found many threads about one of the requests I mentioned, the setting for how long to wait before starting the screensaver, but I couldn't add my opinion and support to them because they were all locked, this forces users to create new threads that are redundant. Also, a user might have some issue but didn't get any satisfying resolutions before the thread was locked, then another user could see the thread and have a solution for them or a workaround, but they wouldn't be able to post it and let them know about it since the thread is locked. There are many more examples like these which show how this locking process is counterproductive.

Is it not possible to choose all "channels" to be displayed in screensaver (Google Photos and Art Gallery and Custom AI Art) instead of just one? If not, this should definitely be an option.

Is it possible for Google Photos screensaver to not crop the images and display them in their original aspect ratio, otherwise some images make no sense when only a small cropped portion of them is displayed.

Also, like many others already pointed out, there should be a setting for how long the screensaver waits before starting.

And why do all the posts keep getting locked on these forums? To prevent useful chains of conversations and collaborations from continuing? Or is it to just check off some internal managerial system checkbox to show "look how proactive and helpful we are by resolving/closing all these user issues and requests"?

Hi coman,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I see you're looking for a feature to get all channels displayed (such as Google Photos, Art Gallery and Custom AI Art) in the Ambient screensaver, as well as a feature that prevents the images displayed from being cropped from their original ratio, and do some settings about wait time to display the screen saver. I understand how frustrating this can be. Let's work together to find a solution.

Currently, the ability to see all channels displayed isn't available. We're always looking for ways to improve. Please consider sharing your insights and experiences by submitting them to the feedback form so we can improve in future updates. To keep our threads fresh and relevant, we do a bit of housekeeping, This includes locking threads after a period of inactivity.

Additionally, here is a helpful article to review the settings for Ambient screensaver.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Byron
